Processing tips
Installation: Ampatex Variano 3 extra is laid on the warm side of the thermal insulation layer. It is fixed in place in dry interior construction using staples on the substructure. Please note that moisture-variable materials can react to significant fluctuations in humidity – therefore, plan for relief loops and take shrinkage and expansion behaviour into account.
Bonding and sealing:
Overlaps: The strips must overlap by at least 10 cm. These joints must be sealed airtight with Ampacoll INT system adhesive tape.
Edge connections: Use Ampacoll BK 530 or Ampacoll RA connection adhesive for connections to adjacent components.
Substrate preparation: For dusty or porous substrates, priming with Ampacoll Primax is essential.
Penetrations: Pipes and cables should be permanently sealed with Ampacoll BK 535 or special Ampacoll Elektro / Install sleeves.
