In combination with Kreidezeit pigment, the Kreidezeit full-tone binder offers the excellent possibility of mixing full-tone wall colours according to your wishes.
Description of the product
Wall colours can be made from individual pigments or from mixtures of two or more pigments. Individual and imaginative colours can be mixed in this way.
The full-tone wall and ceiling paint for interior use can be applied to all load-bearing and absorbent plasters (clay, lime, gypsum, cement), fillers, woodchip, pure paper wallpaper, paper fleece, plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard and concrete and is also suitable for firmly adhering, matt and absorbent emulsion paints, provided a test surface has been created.
Also suitable on firmly adhering, matt and absorbent emulsion paints after a test area has been created with positive results.
The binder is very easy to apply, can be painted over several times and is wipe-resistant. It is also a vegan product.
The full colour binder must be mixed with pigments in a ratio of 1:1 and must not be used unpigmented as a single coat.

Primer
Prime all plasters, levelling compounds, filled drywall panels, concrete and old emulsion paints with Vega primer or casein primer and allow to dry completely. Do not prime paper fleece/paper wallpaper.
Mixing the paint
The solid colour binder must be mixed with pigments in a 1:1 ratio, e.g. 1 kg solid colour binder (powder) + 1 kg pigment (powder).
First stir the pigment lump-free into the required amount of clean, cold water and only then stir in the solid colour binder until the mixture is lump-free. Alternatively, the solid colour binder and the pigments can also be premixed dry beforehand and then stirred together in water. Use a powerful mixer (drill with whisk or kitchen mixer) to stir into water. Leave to soak for at least 30 minutes and stir well again before use.
Water requirement
The amount of water required varies depending on the pigment used.
Guide values for a mixture of 1kg solid colour, consisting of 500g solid colour binder and 500g pigment:

Dilution
It is important not to apply the solid colours too thickly. This means that, depending on the substrate, the colours may need to be thinned further with water to achieve good spreadability.
Brightening white
For lightening with white, the ready-mixed solid colours can be mixed in any ratio with KREIDEZEIT Vega Wall Paint or Clay Paint.
Application
Processing temperature at least 8°C.
Stir occasionally during application.
At least 2 coats are generally required for full coverage. Do not attempt to cover dark and high-contrast substrates with one coat; excessive application thicknesses can lead to paint damage (cracks)! Allow previous coats to dry completely before recoating.
The colours will lighten considerably during drying.
Painting Spread evenly with a façade brush in a criss-cross pattern.
Rolling First apply a full and even coat in a crosswise motion, then immediately roll in one direction without applying any more material.
The mixed paint must be applied on the same day. Do not continue to use bad or foul-smelling paint under any circumstances: Danger of long-lasting odour problems even after drying!
Drying time in a normal climate
Can be painted over after approx. 8 hours. Completely dry after approx. 24 hours.
Suitable tools
Good medium pile paint rollers (polyamide) and brushes. Airless spraying equipment (min. 200 bar nozzle pressure).
Cleaning the tools
Immediately after use with water.
