Kreidezeit mould remediation plaster is characterised by its excellent water absorption capacity and is therefore particularly suitable for balancing out high levels of moisture in rooms and remediating mould infestation, as the condensation moisture is absorbed immediately.
This proven product for combating mould is made from purely natural and mineral products and can be used on almost all mineral surfaces that are solid, absorbent and free of loose particles. These include, for example, lime, lime-cement, lime-gypsum and cement plasters, masonry and interior stone. Application on gypsum plaster, gypsum plasterboard, gypsum fibreboard on request.

Primer
Pre-wet absorbent substrates until saturated with clean water, preferably sintered lime water (Art. 169) and do not allow to dry.
Mixing the plaster
Stir the powder into the specified quantity of clean, cold water using a powerful stirrer. Allow to swell for at least 15 minutes and stir again thoroughly before use.
Water requirement
0.35 - 0.40 litres / 1 kg powder
It is normal for the mixed plaster to thicken. The product must always be adjusted with water on site to achieve a good working consistency for the given substrate, i.e. the amount of water may need to be increased slightly.
Application
Apply 3-5 mm thick render to the pre-wetted substrate using a stainless steel trowel or notched trowel.
Tip: Applying the plaster with an 8 x 8 mm notched trowel and then smoothing produces an application thickness of approx. 3 mm.
After application, rub in with a sponge board or wooden float.
Special notes: During the setting process (2 - 3 days), the plaster should only be allowed to dry slowly. During this time, moisten slightly 1 - 2 times. Take suitable precautions to prevent the plaster from drying out too quickly. Avoid draughts and direct sunlight. Temperatures during application and hardening should not be below 7°C or above 25 °C.
Maximum application thickness 10 mm.
Subsequent coats
Only use KREIDEZEIT Swamp Lime Paint as a coating material, as other coating systems may impair the functionality of the plaster.
Drying time in a normal climate
At least 1 day per mm application thickness. Low temperatures extend the drying time.
