Product information "Kreidezeit Marseille Soap"
Kreidezeit Marseille Soap is purely vegetable and can be used for cleaning floors and oiled surfaces as well as for brushes and rollers and for hand cleaning. Due to its good cold water solubility, it can also be used as a wood floor soap.
It is finely needled to increase its solubility. Marseille soap can be used in a variety of ways as it is produced without the addition of colourings, fragrances or preservatives and does not contain any artificial surfactants.

Floor cleaning
Cleaning of all types of smooth floors, especially for oiled or waxed cork, wood and tile flooring as well as for linoleum.
Add 2 tbsp. Marseille soap with 1 litre of boiling water (kettle) and stir until the soap is dissolved. Then dilute with 7 litres of water and clean the floor as usual.
Cleaning brushes and paint rollers
Pour 1 litre of boiling water (kettle) over 4 - 5 tablespoons of Marseille soap and stir until the soap is dissolved. Leave to cool for at least 30 minutes. Thoroughly wash out oil-soiled brushes and rollers with the soap solution.
Dried, oil-stained tools can usually be cleaned by briefly boiling them in the soap solution.
Soaping floors
In some areas of Germany, it is customary to protect softwood floors and tables against soiling by simply "soaping" them. The light-coloured wood character is initially retained as far as possible. Over the years, a beautiful patina usually develops.
Dissolve approx. 20 g of Marseille soap in 1 litre of boiling water. Apply the warm soap solution to the untreated wooden floor with a suitable brush, work in with a scrubbing brush and leave to dry. If necessary, repeat the process until the desired result is achieved or until the surface is covered with a wafer-thin film of soap. The soap application should be repeated from time to time, depending on wear, to ensure sufficient protection for the wood.
Caution: Woods containing tannins, e.g. oak, can become very dark in colour. It is strongly recommended that test areas are created to assess the result before working on large areas.
