ISOLENA -100% Wool yurt insulation
The continuous, specially bonded needle felt made of sheep's wool is naturally heat-insulating, moisture-regulating and can absorb up to 33% of its own weight in moisture without losing its insulating properties and without being "wet". It retains its bulkiness without damaging the building fabric. The reason for this is the unique structure of the protein fibre: it is water-resistant, i.e. hydrophobic. A property that is very advantageous for yurt construction. And sheep's wool offers another advantage: as a protein fibre, itdoes not forma breeding ground for mould.
